Pull me aside, ask me why, I'll be completely honest, I won't hide, You may not like everything I have to say, But that is how I love, it's a personal thing, Life is messy, and when feelings are ignored, We miss opportunities for our hearts to see more, When we put on blinders it doesn't further us at all, We overlook so much, until the curiousity is gone, Ask me, I won't let you down, I'll always care, I'll always be around, Because in my heart I want the same, Love and respect through honesty gained, We know in our hearts that's a rare thing to find, Because most people are scared to open their eyes, Blinders are comfortable, we can't see, But real love brings growth through our honesty.
