Arise!
under the boughs of her personal tree
she counts her wishes, one two three
theleaves fall down so she cannot see
she falls asleep for a thousand years
the world revolves around her fears
she knows it all but never hears
the cormorants along the shore
dive for love and evermore
but that's not what she's
waiting for
the sentinels address the sky,
pour out their seven bowls and sigh
but she just lets the time go by
dreaming bouquets and a ball
dancing with her prince so tall
whirlling,twirling through it all
until the white lord sharp of tongue
brings to mind the old and young
on his stallion he will come
to brush the autumn leaves away
from where she sleeps
until that day
when he will take her hand and say...
ARISE!
