Argument With a Wife Is Futile

Argument With a Wife Is Futile

By Elton Camp

Some say that truth will prevail
At times, the old adage will fail

If, with your wife you disagree,
Then you might as well let it be

Anything you say, she’ll deny
So save your breath--don’t try

You’re wrong and she is right
Give in and avoid a big fight

It’s one a man will never win
So there’s no need to begin

The only thing she wants to hear
“Yes, you’re right about that dear”

That sure says it how it is, sometimes. Rationality is overrated.
