Archie Bunker

Archie Bunker served in Italy during Dubya Dubya Two, And was wounded by an enemy gun that was aimed, Oh! so true! He won the Purple Heart and was reluctant to talk about his scar, but, Meathead found great glee in reminding him that he was shot in the butt! Robert L. hahaha, great last line. I absolutely LOVED this show. It was about the best sitcom ever to hit tv until that time. BEST ever. (well until today's shows which also rock!!)

How appropriate--he was shot in the derriere! lol. I glanced at an Archie Bunker episode a few weeks ago..wow..we have come such a long way from those days, haven't we?..I am glad to learn that thru his opinionated stances that he had the American GI spirit to back them up...
