Approaching Density

Wounded in trust I lay upon the sand
And with confidence I speak to the clouds
Wondering if I'm the one setting sails
Having this breakthrough alarmed at how I was parted
And how your sign was indistinguishable from the just
Numbed from the loss
Not responsible for the mystery
I am the revenge you begged for
The softness of distinct promises in these tender motions
The length of laughter from recent encounters
Following your eyes following my hands
Flowing down your neck
The white noise in your ear
I rush into climates from lips to becomings
Struggling with eventualities
Floating on ink and the blood of sons and feathers waving bravely
Approaching density scenes of calamity
Slowed to stop the nature of violence
Auditions of privacy wise words to rebound
And from these hands I demand the strides of force
Chimes that climb upon the breast of hope
To paths of rhyme undaunted by remorse
The mighty will fill their cups for how the wind won't blow
