Another Waltz Movement
ANOTHER WALTZ MOVEMENT
this one starts softly
with a compelling rhythm
catching at the feet
nor complexity
nor controlling intellect
but mildly wild, free
the lights, red wine
invitation to the dance
and she willingly
now her gown sweeps out
in three-quarter harmony
with others i see
and the flow begins
circling within a circle
so casually
the charming first theme
slowly gathers momentum
swelling by degree
till the rainbows merge
mood becomes electric a
whirling ecstasy!
how describe the theme
such as never heard before
driving endlessly.
describe the movement
infinite grace, precision?
fools might tell, not me
ah, recollection
my familiar waltz movement
my fond fantasy
