I just got to see you cry, And I knew right then how important I was to my baby, When I told you I was considering the military, there was no reply, Not a word was said until a tear came from your eye. I just got to see all the things said about me, And I knew right then I was on your mind, Well so were you and I can guarantee, So were pictures of your beautiful face that I see. I just got a call from you at 3 in the morning, And I knew right then you didn't care about waking me, I don't either cause I wanna hear your voice without warning, So worth it to hear I love you in the midmorning. I just had to get your cheeks to hurt from smiling, And I knew right then we were perfect for each other. From there our love for each other began stock piling, And it continues, so high now, I'll now never love another. I just got a shot, With the most beautiful girl in the world, And I knew right then how lucky I really am and I cannot, Lose her and I'm gonna do everything I can to keep it that way.
