And God Created Women
Verse 1
Adam was in the garden
And looking very sad
The Lord asked him, what was wrong
And this is what he said
You’ve created a lovely garden
And all the animals too
But when, I’m feeling lonely
Lord, what am I to do
Pre - Chorus
It’s a friend I need
A friend indeed
A loving gentle guide
To help me through my day
A companion by my side
Verse 2
The Lord came up with a solution
After thinking it through
He said, I’ll put you to sleep
Cause’ you’re unique
And this is what I’ll do
Yeah’ I’ll take a rib from you
I’ll make you someone special
Loving, faithful and true
Chorus
And God created women
Their beauty next to none
Now theirs none in the garden
And the devils' on the run
Verse 3
So God created woman
With such beauty, grace and fair
Everything the man desired
And she would do and dare
She was very understanding
And God bought her unto him
Adam said I'll name her Eve
And God looked and grinned
Chorus
And God created women
Their beauty next to none
Now theirs none in the garden
And the devils' on the run
Verse 4
Now the Lord sternly warned them
About the tree of knowledge
It stood in the mist of the garden
It was good and evil porridge
He said the day you eat of it
You will surely die
But that devil had a cunning plan
Cause he was slick and sly
Chorus
And God created women
Their beauty next to none
Now theirs none in the garden
And the devils' on the run
Verse 5
Now both were in the garden
And having lots of fun
Until that slimy snake
Enticed Eve with one
So she took a bite of the apple
Giving some to him
And Adam knew in an instant
They had fallen into sin
Bridge
So God made a rescue plan
Seeing what Satan had done
He said I'll send a redeemer
Christ my only begotten son
Chorus
And God created women
Their beauty next to none
Now theirs none in the garden
And the devils' on the run
