Anchored thoughts

I see myself dancing out there in the shadow of an ocean Hands free in the air as seagulls surround me Then,I hide with the sun behind a dark cobalt sky I can't see me anymore I vanish,I'm gone Oncemore I find me again through the face of the moon which mirrors each drop of huge savage waves beneath my feet. All alone, scared but not terrified sad but not desperate I sail to the open winds in a ship without sails which sinks in the deep whilst i breathe in empty silence freezing the smile of a lifetime.

Your comment about the Titanic makes it make a lot more sense. I thought the same thing as I was writing stories about it. What would I have done? With that in view, your last several lines in the poem really have a unique meaning.

yes..but .. i wrote -I'm scared but not terrified...sad but not desperate.. So though sad its hopeful cos I can always freeze the smile in a lifetime. I was inspired by titanic story.. I was thinking of those people and their thoughts in last moments.. and what would i have then in their situation.. I would have thought of the best smile ever and freeze it with me :)
