Anchored Down

I was a ship lost at sea. You became my anchor. You grounded me. When the waves crashed down, and the boat caved in. You jumped in. You grabbed my hand. At first I couldn't see you. I had been blind for so long. One day I woke up, and I saw for the very first time. I could now see colors, and the dark no longer controlled my life. That's when I took my vow to love you for a whole lifetime. So when my waves crash in I'm not all alone. I have you as my anchor. You keep me steady. You are my home.
