An Emptiness Within

Raindrops outside my closed fists, an emptiness within. © kash poet ========000======== Placement:1st; (November 2012) Contest:Gogyoka Sponsor: Joann Grisetti ##Gogyoka, is a form of Japanese poetry pioneered by Enta Kusakabe in 1957 in his quest to find freedom from the constraints of tanka poetry. Unlike tanka, gogyoka does not have any syllable requirement for the length of its lines. The only hardfast rule of gogyoka is that the poem should be five lines long, with line breaks occurring as a result of natural breath-pattern, which is individual to a particular speaker and their language. ====================================================================
