An Apology

I apologize for what you will see here I sometimes find myself fighting with meter And from time to time, The lines, they don’t rhyme, But cut me some slack, it’s not like I’m charging you to read this, okay? Apologies, I’ve come back to grips, And I looked up some limerick tips. I’ve picked up some wisdom On structure and rhythm But sticking to the rules has never been a really strong suit of mine.
