An Angel's Anthem

An angel's anthem A dark night Filled with rain, Angels stand in rows As a commander screams, Perfectly still They stand. Awaiting the final word Of this lecture, Water drops Hit their beautiful skin. The commander looks At his soldiers, A smile cracks on his face As he yells for attention. Heels click together Hands to their head, Their voices boom together As the commander dismisses them, Into war they head.
