Along This Silent Path I Do Walk

Tears streaming down my cheeks With wind whispers on my neck His last words touch my ears Over life he casts a snare His dying wish I do hear... With sorrow and despair Holding in silent screams That will turn To silent tears.... Among the star filled skies In the middle of the moonlight Out comes silhouette For among the shadows he will be Am I the person who is constantly hurting? I try hard to be someone else Someone who is aware of how I felt The heart that beats Is bittersweet So release me from your memory.... As I walk this silent path... Brooke

So great a write. I have walked that road myself in the distant past! You captured in words (great words) a silent pain and time many of us have unfortunately had to endure.. "Live to love another blessed day life is short and hope is the way"

Deep is the pain seated in a soul whose path is shadowed by memories that bring sorrow... The heart cries to be free. The mind is stifled with out light to show direction... PR This poem speaks inspiration and pain on a level that touches my heart... PR

Such sorrowful words. Very well written. I love the ending "release me from your memory" Sometimes it is not enough for us to let go, they have to release us too.
