Along the Way
A WOODLAND PATH IN THE DAPPLED SUN
HUSHED AND QUIET..
where do lead?
shall I follow you
or stop and return;
there is no choice,
the past is gone,
the flowers dead
where go you lead!
your beauty brings delight,
each step is life
in vibrant hue;
there is no choice
but,to follow you
I know not where these footsteps lead
'neath leaf,in petalled flower seed
