The subject of aliens is a big topic today Here's what I think for the record, I say Of course they exist At Walmart, catch my drift? Their invasion is surely already underway

This is not really a limerick, which have 3 feet of 3 syllables each in lines 1,2 and 5, and 2 feet of 3 syllables in lines 3 and 4, (with some wiggle room in the number of unstressed syllables). It's this form that give limericks their unique flow. How about instead: "The subject of aliens is big today./On the topic I have this to say:/ Of course they exist,/At Walmart they enlist;/Their invasion is well underway."
