Addicted To Her
Addicted to Her
His darkness settles in for the night
My red heart drains
To a colorless empty vase
The water is dry
The flowers have wilted to a slow death
I offer him everything I possess
My inner being
My heart, my body, my soul
She wins him over
With no effort at all
With her empty promises
I can't compete with her
I've tried until exhaustion
She wins his heart time and time again
He feels her joy, escape and euphoria
My love is not enough
I still love him
He is obsessed with her
Addicted and uncontrolled
A life of countless lies to be with her
I can't compete with her
Anymore
I'm sorry
