A Way Out

I look into the ocean while you look into the space. I stare into the abyss while you gaze upon the light that lights this place. Darkness is where I dwell and I am trying to find my way out. But the more I claw into the void my heart becomes shrouded with doubt. I am looking for your light! can you please show me the way? Let me share just a fraction of one of your glorious days. I saw you once standing on a cloud so high. You were with two angels, one at each side. The clouds below showed a hellish sight. A tortured soul descending into a fiery twilight. Still you stood high with your arms open with love. reaching out for me. Reaching out to lift me above.
