A Verse For the Seasons

Spring The alluring season called Spring Will be upon us very soon Buds anew will prosper As we await their impending blooms Summer As we await their impending blooms Amidst the canopied veins of greens Summer is the month of rainbow colours So radiant in their extreme Autumn So radiant in their extreme Are the colours of Autumns cry It saddens one to see them fade Drifting to their eventual lie Winter Drifting to their eventual lie Winters patterns display with grace Splendid scenes that nature shares Makes this world a better place http://www.thehighlanderspoems.com/nature-13.php

James. I love the patterning of this one, feeding off the end line of each stanza. Very nicely done. LUv, andrea

Very good, James. Lyrical and precise, yet still sings like music. You really are quite good. Thank you for the good words about my writing -- especially about 'My Grandpa'. I'm glad you could see it... Take care, Deb

Wonderful poem of seasons, each one has it's beauty, many dislike winter, but winter holds my soul, I was born in a winter storm and thus I guess my love of snow~~
