A True Friend

Many friends I have had, they move on , walk away. Even though it's very sad, a new friend comes your way. So special and caring, always there for you. Many things you find you're sharing, a friend so fresh and new. Although we may have our bouts, we took into our hearts. Our friendship is never on the outs, it was special from the start. We know somehow it was meant to be, God gave us one another. Our eyes are open, now we see, this friendship will never wonder. A special one here to stay, someone close and loving. With my special friend I begin a new day, each day it keeps on growing. With our hearts open all the time, it's etched into you. this special one will always be mine, and I will always be theirs. We talk of many things all the time, you were a true friend from the start.
