A Troubled Mind

At the very listening post I made a pause, reminiscing the great times We had at that very same post Took a break from the beat of this remorseless life We exchanged whispers and, Only wished they were vows At that time, my life left at ease Nearly shed a tear upon her sight Loneliness is a scornful pain It hurts and mocks Just half of it Would make you beg for even the worst company That’s why the lonely coward sticks to the bottle Anyway, that’s how absurd life can get Laugh a little, smile a bit, Lie all the way to the top For life doesn’t get any better for lonely people You could lose your soul to the wandering smoky dust Have your heart drilled out of your untrimmed chest But without her, loneliness is a limitless event With a high odd of hitting you I can’t stop but think of you Am stuck wandering what’s next Now that she is only an old flame BY Oswell
