A Taste of Snow

We had a taste of snow today To whet the appetite, Reminding us that winter’s offers Pack a little bite. I wasn’t really ready for The season’s full-course meal, For sleet and ice and zero temps Don’t hold that much appeal. But just a little palate tease Was wake-up call enough So when the second course is served, I’ll not call Nature’s bluff.
