A Slight Breeze
A slight drizzle of rain earthbound
From dark heavy gray clouds
Sheer fog still cloaks the creek hollow
Thunder rumbled close and loud
A rainy day is needed now
For plants had begun to dry
The moisture will be delightful
For some had begun to die
Closer~closer the thunder rolls
The rain more steady flows
Only a slight breeze stirs the air
Rooster and Dove put on show
Now a river flows through the yard
Thunder round after round
Frogs sing competing to win show
The rain soft cymbal's sound
The frogs a loud bass trio tune
In time with the rain's beat
Their song charmingly a deep croon
A lover's desire heats
