I sit , look around Only water to be found The white clean sand Falls like an hourglass in my hand. Feeling so far away Lost at shore, held at bay Laying flat under the sun Island living is pure fun. A tropical oasis sitting sole Escaping into a fishbowl Waves lapping onto shore Never lonely, feeling whole. An island is by far A place to love, leaves no scars A precious piece of land You have to go to understand.
