I just love the thought of a monoku, being titled "Sea of Words", seems like a misnomer. But what a fun read.

Do not worry my dearest Anne-Lise for the drowning is allegorical! I mean that a poet who tries to impress, sometimes, uses so many pompous words that his poetic genius is drowning in the plethora of words. Homer and Hesiod and many other poets wrote 2800 years ago, long before Sappho! Thank you my kind friend, Anne-Lise for your visit and precious comment!
