"a Right Road"

A dance floor of spirits that shuffle along... Each taps their feet to a whole new song... I sat with the devil and had a drink... I played with the angels and never blinked... Sinners and saints we could never be sure... I just tipped my hat and strolled through the door... Right or wrong is just behind your eyes... I can tell you what I see, but will never lie... I latched on a cloud and drifted my way... You can follow me, but please don't sway... I paid a price for not staying in my lane... So listen and learn there's no fast way to fame... You can get your feet warm if the lines may cross... But step in the fire and your soul could be lost...

Deep meaning in this poem, Michael. We all dance to a different drummer -- sometimes we drink with the devil and other times we play with angels. But in our hearts, we know right from wrong. I really like the message in your last line here. Good warning! Love, Carolyn
