A Rare Connection Moment

siting here on my last day off reconnecting with you all grown up from the cookie shake loving grown kid you first met funny how we still click funny how we still forget about time funny how change and distance inspires many facets though life dealt us some heavy tests and challenges, we still find that pathway to our laughter and our smiles i am still wanting you you are still wanting me yet and still we know....that one moment so wished for will never ever be still we sit here....me washing clothes and making payments you with your best girlfriend enjoying your brunch cocktails (without the brunch) still putting the world on the backburner taking advantage of each other's availability though tomorrow it is back to normal, we take in of each other all we can it is as though we can sense each other's sadness still as we start to say our goodbyes, the familiar face of hesitation keeps us bringing up stuff we won't know when we will connect again, but right here right now....feels so refreshing goodbye....until the next connection....
