A Porch Light
A porch light
A dark night sees the fireflies glow,
Beauty winks through an open window,
As I run to catch hold of them in delight,
Reach closer and they are out of sight,
Dancing around a porch light all through night,
Giggling moth is not bothered of his plight,
Life as if beyond any logical understanding,
Dwindling uncertainty before the final hanging,
Evolution and to cause to grow as a clone,
We come to and leave this world all alone !
