A Paradox

We humans tend to dwell on the past Our triumphs, our mistakes, our uncertainties Realizing where we could have done better Had we had the ability to know what was to come Of course, how were we to know How could we have possibly predicted the innovations That were just around the next bend These astonishing accomplishments of human ingenuity I dwell on the past but I also look to the future To all the amazing new ideas Aimed at making life simpler But at the same time a lot more complex A paradox perhaps? © Jack Ellison 2014

Ah Jack... You just rounded the bend to a great philosopher. I loved this piece. To me Dragon is a paradox... He makes my life simpler by giving me topics to write... But more complex as I wonder if I could advance his fame further... And his stories are very challenging to come up with... And then there's the thought... Is the world ready for Dragon? He thinks he's ready for the world.

They are aimed to make life simpler Jack but with all this new technology we simply don't have the time to do what is really important in life like actually talk to someone face to face rather than use a mobile device - strange world isn't it .Hugs Jan xxx
