A Night To Pray

Every night in my bed Before going to sleep I bend My knees, bow down my head And whisper a prayer— To the Lord my God, my Saviour; That I may be safe from any danger… I am praying for protection Much more for my salvation And strength to carry on— I am going to a journey To an unconscious state of my body; Lying like dead in bed In the middle of the night— I should not forget to pray For I know only His GRACE Can allow me to see The tomorrow’s morning light.
