A Most Strange Voyage
Searching deserted streets
Abandoned malls, crowded with
Wandering ghosts
Collapsed upon mountains
Of human debris
A 24 jewelled railroad
Watch, clutched firmly
In my hand
Time ceased within its
Crystalized shell, unable to discern
Movement
Gulls cackled, and great
Walrus, tusks protruding with vibrant
Menace, labored through my dream
Green islands, verdant with mysterious
Sounds, strange shapes, leaping and
Flying from tree tops
Only to disappear below,
Beckoned me
At last,
I awoke
And sipped a cup of tea
