A Moment of Prayer
I tour this desolate world full of anger
Possessed by self-destructive danger
Obsessed with vengeance and an evil agenda
I seek a spiritual path, to the heart of a panda
For my soul to reside in paradise,
But my thoughts tell me otherwise
Likewise, my doubts leave me paralysed
My fears leave me traumatised...
My spirit will never know heaven’s glory
My prayers will never levitate higher
Remaining unanswered, feeling rejected
Unloved in this world of hatred...
I’m a product of an evil prowess
Of the physical, ruthless universe
I’m nothing without His power
My only hope is a moment of prayer
