A Love Note To Michael
My friend says Michael fancies me
Mandy’s written on the board and I thinks it is me.
He has drawn a love heart with an arrow going through it
It’s not very good I’ll show him how to draw it.
I practiced putting his surname after mine
And I practice signing Mrs all of the time
I really hope it is me he fancies cos I think he’s great
I’m going to stand by the bus stop and say that’s it late
Maybe if I ‘m lucky cos I know he comes this way
And then maybe we could get on the late bus today.
I’m scared and nervous he’s such a good looking boy
His name is on my book, but I’m going to play coy
If he talks to me I will just faint away
Oh no he’s on that bus and he’s going the wrong way.
