A Gentle Tear In My Eye
A gentle tear in my eye, pushing through the crowd
But no matter how I try, this world is just too loud
In singing out His Praise and rejoicing in His Name
Life was an intricate maze then the Lord Jesus came
Yet no one will listen nor would they bend an ear
In seeing the world glisten your vision isn't clear
So many crossing my path always in such a hurry
When it is of God's Wrath that should be your worry
This life will not last but it's your way upon the earth
Accounting for your past at death right back to birth
The seeds that you sowed the reasons why you act
Everything that's owed in so being what you lacked
But nobody even cares being oblivious to His Word
All looking about with stares as if they never heard
But I do understand thus the gentle tear in my eye
His Plan being far too grand in trying to explain why
