A Fool I Am
Slaughter me in a bed of roses;
Color so red you'll never see.
Pain so great the thorns beyond your notice.
I'll give you everything I am.
Suffer me until the end,
For i am the fool that will bleed.
I am the one that took it for granted.
My tears will shed like a second skin.
My heart will break like no tomorrow.
Sorry that i should of seen,
It was never meant to be in the end.
Water not the garden now,
for flowers withered will not grow.
I made my peace with what it was,
now I'll cry those tears of strife.
Give me back what once we had.
Make it right if it was wrong
Fool me once but never again,
the truth will set you free.
I loved you once in passion innocent,
Now love me back,
If that is what you will it to be.
