A Different Jack
Know this sounds a bit unusual
For the Jester of P-Soup fame
But lately on the scale of one to ten
Each day's gone down in flames
It happens every once in a while
No reason to have the blues
Maybe it's just a stretch of bad weather
Or maybe the six o'clock news
News could be the real culprit
It constantly talks about war
Tired of hearing the same old stuff
Fed up to the very core
Even the stuff on the science channels
Predicts the end as we know it
As well as the threat of nuclear war
Tired of it, don't give a sh-t
Whatever will be, will be, my friends
What can one person do
Seventy-nine and had a good life
Pray our kids will make it through
