A Crying Shame
It's a crying shame,
When love cuts you deeply,
When you don't want to hear my name,
And when you pretend to have been over me.
It's a crying shame,
That I still love you,
Especially after all the pain I've been through,
That you've given me through and through.
It's a crying shame,
How we both know that we love each other,
But don't want our appearance to falter,
So we hate each other out of our love.
It's a crying shame,
That you lie about me,
That you blame me,
That you hate me.
It's a crying shame,
That hatred devours you from the love you once felt,
Torturing you so,
Just let it go.
It's a crying shame,
That I try to hurt you because you hurt me,
That I am filled with anxiety,
I have to try to just let it be.
It's a crying shame,
That you have me to blame.
And I think about it everytime I hear your name.
It's all a crying shame.
