A Cold Drink of Water
Charity soothes the soul and appeases the mind
It's greatest role is in the helping of you to find
As simple as a smile as charity needn't be grand
But all the while it's all about for who you stand
For it must be true in coming from your heart
As anything you do you really had but no part
In knowing It's all His Glory in so creating you
That should be your story one that is more true
Don't give for show as such people so do pride
For God will know as for nothing can you hide
For charity is not a fashion something you wear
But it is compassion offering some tender care
There is a big difference in one from the other
One has the sense that the person is my brother
Whereas the other one is strictly done for oneself
And when this is done you've received your wealth
Mark 9:41
For whosoever shall give you a cup of water
to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ,
verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.
