A Child's Prayer

God, You're the Maker. Jesus, You're His Son. Together You both made us. You made the Earth and everyone. You made the stars above us. You made the seagulls and the sea. You made the flowers to cheer us and the little bumble bee. Be with us in our childhood to protect us in the dark and in our hearts plant love that grows like a little spark. Teach us in our teenage years to be patient, kind and true. Be with our parents dear who first were made by You. Help them to show us in their love for each other that someday when we're grown we'll be loving to another. And when we're old and gray we'll have a peaceful mind knowing that You were there to guard us when we were young and blind. Yes, we'll pray along life's way knowing we'll receive an answer somehow, somewhere, someday because we'll talk to You each morning and this is what we'll say: "Dear Father in heaven, please be with us today and help us to please You in everything we do and say." Amen. By: Carole O'Terry Duet Copyright: 1997 "All Rights Reserved"

Hi Carole It is a beautiful prayer for Children. Children cannot pay off the debt of their generous parents but as a way of love for them, we must pray for them....which you did in beautiful words
