Why Are They There

I've heard it said that there are windows in heaven; so I asked myself why are they there? Are they there to let the sun shine in or let the Son of God shine out. I've heard it said that there is a door in heaven: so I asked myself why is it there? Is it there to let the faithful in or to let God's grace flow forth. These are questions I could not answer so I asked the Lord and this is what he said. Behold I stand at the door and knock whoever opens the door; I will come in and dine with them. Then he said I will open the windows of heaven and pour down my blessings upon you. Now I know why they are there so we can enjoy all of the treasures that the Lord God wants to share.
