" Dawn "
Sun does rise before my eyes
From sea of shimmering glass
Island seen across her sheen
Thoughts of days long past
Gulls to wing with song to sing
Aloft once all together
Whale found then to sound
Breeze now does day bring
All such this so found as bliss
In northern reach of tide
Time stands still as if at will
To land so gently kiss
Day so sprung thus has brung
Bright glow upon her hands
For all to see her waterfall
Of myriad painted lands
