In a world with much violence Abuse and violence without control Sore screaming and bloody wounds Broken hearts and dreams Please take away my doubts Let the sound of pain subside Do not tear down the hope build up the truth Show mercy on our earth Let the children play on our green fields Reach out your hand and create bonds Live life in the spirit of love 25.09.2013 A-L Andresen :)

This is such a beautiful, such a bittersweet read it is so good! So touching to the heart, so true that it sparks a flame in my heart. It is a very creative write, and what a great title to use for this outstanding poem. Also thank you for reading my poem about midnight! Our poems are similar in diffrent ways. We both seek a new day, where everything can be at peace. No more blood, no more violence, Just peace and love all around. It is easier to love than to kill, so why do it! Great write xoxo

This reads like a prayer that I too will say in my hour before sleep....It is so difficult to keep faith when day after day, the news is so grim. But we must keep the hope that good triumphs over evil.......I have to believe it ! A touching poem Anne-Lise
