Disappointment

When you think ‘bout your past, but can’t think of what made you happy Except for someone that you can only write to and it's spelled G-O-D It’s great if you believe in him but When you’re down, who can you come to and Know its ok to hug or cry in their arms Still tons of people put you down for what you believe You just gotta be strong no matter what they say It’s like discrimination which most of us thought Was stopped many years ago But everyone surprises one another each day Its disappointment that takes over kids’ eyes when Their own parents get high in front of them and do Things that will influence the life of their kids And next thing, they too are now getting high And their life is ruined, with only disappointments To look back in their past and its stuck in their memories before they die It’s disappointment that is taking over When you love a person so much you’d do Anything to get them but when you do They casually give you signs, you think mean something Making you feel like they got a thing for you too But you’re wrong You then find out They have someone else in mind and share their love With them, making you feel like a loner But deep down inside you don’t know that The person you love is still Trying to give all their love for you as much as possible But all you can see is them loving some one else And jealousy and anger is the only thing Taking over you now
