It is definitely good to see things from a child's perspective sometimes because I believe that as we get older we tend to over complicate things and children just seem to make thing simpler. Beautiful story thanks for sharing.

A great story. I really like the "dialogue." It may seem odd, but I really like graveyards. I spent a lot of time in one after my father's death. I even learned to drive there. It's difficult to hit anyone in a cemetery... Jack

Oh! what a story. Children are fearless, full of imagination. The last line is very powerful. Entire episode is based on his tremendous love for the grand mother. touchy. thanks for sharing your experience. And tahnk you for your lovely comments

This is a real gem Anne...I have twin great-grandsons...Once when they were around 5 yrs old and my wife was still alive, she unknowingly had a rip in the rear of her jeans...James walked over to her when she was cooking, tugged on her shirt and whispered "Maw-maw, your pants are broke"...Priceless - Tim

A wonderful story, how the innocence of a child can often be the most inspiring of all, alas I would not let Luke anywhere near any graveyard, or at the very least check he hadn't packed a shovel :)
