America, a Runaway Train?

The stage is set as we journey forward, Things are getting scarce and the times are getting hard. They are trying to wreck our already weak economy by jacking the prices of crude, Which has a direct effect on everything from housing to food. We are on a runaway train just looking for a place to derail, And if we don’t get it stopped soon get ready for a living hell. Just take a look around you at all the foreclosures on the market, We are left with a choice, food or gas, I think I’d rather park it. And what about ethanol? Experts say it’s a waste of time. A false hope unfeasible and to continue forward would be a crime. People I’m not making this stuff up it’s been on the six o’clock news nearly every night, When a fifty dollar bill won’t fill up a tank something ain’t right. And don’t dare get sick or you’ll lose everything you’ve got, And if you have to buy a prescription, forget about food to put in the pot. It’s a crazy world and you can bet it’ll get worse, Maybe somebody can stop this runaway train and see if it’s got a reverse. Those of us who are retired or at retirement age, Should have read the fine print at the bottom of the page. You can retire if you want to live in poverty, I just have one question, what ever happened to God Bless America and the Land of the Free?
