3 AM

Woman
it is 3 AM
where are you?

Do you know
what it is like
stretched across a bed

alone at 3 AM
waiting for you
staring at the moon?

The clock ticks
the moon rolls
over rooftops and disappears...

I drive to look for you,
nothing but closed signs
in windows with faceless mannequins...

Red lights and stop signs
basket people about
still no you...

So, I text you and no reply
I drove back home
to greet the god of wine...

A bottle later
still no you...

Ken These words pull at my heart in a sad and emotional way. You expressed your feelings of abandonment loneliness perfectly. Nice job
