23:02 - Recovery from Romance

This thing called love has messed me up,
My body doesn't feel the same.
It's wreaking havoc with my head,
Makes wrath and envy bow in shame.

A simple breath: like breathing fire,
It burns a hole for all to see.
Then icy wind invades too deep,
And bites and breaks what's left of me.

My smiles are fake and soon they will
Dissolve away to nothingness.
It hurts to know they're only real
With you, for you, and nothing less.

And crying's very different now,
A fervent ripping starts within.
Then nothing stops my hollow howl
When playbacks of old days begin.
