Maria Vasalis (The Hague, 13 February 1909- Roden 16 October 1998) was a Dutch poet and psychiatrist. M. Vasalis is the pseudonym of Margaretha Droogleever Fortuyn-Leenmans. Vasalis is her Latinized maiden name.
