The Lost

                                                Innocent lifeless
                                       Pretty children rest in peace
                                             Let us pray for them

                                            The kids were victims
                                       The shooter was victim too
                                             Let's not put a blame

                                                 Exclamation sign
                                          Love family, love it right
                                        Don't loose, hug them tight

                                                  Dear educators
Part of the victims as well
                                               The lifetime tribute

                                           Mourn traveled the world
Burn by cause last on effect
                                               Careful in our steps

through the misty morn

through the misty morn
colors show, red, yellow, blue--
a cock crows

small children laugh
and run through green fields of grass --
the school bus honks

colors leave the sky
with the heat of the dawn sun--
the bus doors open

First day to school is very good for children like us, very cool.
We meet our new friends and old one’s too,
But we don’t know we should catch whom.
Children are excited to know the teacher,
As they need a good future.
We come to know the rules of school,
So that we do not work according to us like fools.
We share our tiffins and tell our feelings,.
We ask last year’s percentage ,
To know whether the child is of good stage.
We give our introduction lovingly,
So that everyone may know us clearly.
There is nothing to study much as its first day, full of fun.
We go home hand in hand ,
To remain life long friends….

you made us unique we’re grass seeds who want to speak to show your art skills you’re so creative you made us grow on the head of this goofy face we saw your technique stocking filled with potting mix mold in small ball shape with glued googly eyes it is funny in your sight we’re with soil inside place the craft in bowl then pour the head with water with joy, we sprout out an Arts Craft Grass Head grown like Fido Dido’s hair you must trim us fair display in your room adore your toy with great joy we’re unique at all we are proud grass seeds work of your creative hands fruit of your great mind Feb. 18 ,2012
This chain of haiku was inspired by one of my art activities in school. I've also done this at home. The picture of one of the Grass Head projects that I've made is my avatar ( but i think a little bit scary looking it from a distance, lol). To know more about it or have a clearer view, you can search it in google with this title, “Grass Head” Thank you so much for reading. I hope you've enjoyed. Autumn Memories

across tree-lined yards
leaves dance in colorful frocks --
distant school bell chimes

through open windows
the scent of pumpkin spice drifts --
an orange moon rises

under charcoal skies
rain dampens mouldering leaves --
a lone snowflake falls

Heavens Dew

Heavens wintry dew
Leaves thoroughfares icier
Forcing school closings.
