Face
You have opened my eyes to things no one else Will ever get to see. You have held me close to the point Where others could not breathe. You have made me feel things that no one else Will ever get to feel. Through my lowest times you have been my safety net To stop me from falling. Through my uncertain times you have been my engine To stop me from stalling. Through my highest points you have been my balloon Taking me ever higher to reach the stars. You accept me all in all From my piercings to my tattoos Right down to my scars. You made my heart beat again Where I thought it had stopped. You've given me things No one else ever could And for this I will always be thankful. For all the times you've made me laugh And the times you held me when I cried Even though you too were hurting inside. Those times you've been there for me I can never replace. Anytime you are unsure of how I feel Or where you stand, You only have to do one thing And that's to look at my face.
